Many analysts argue that the end of quantitative easing (QE) would bring a reversal of the effects of the QE policies. We agree wholeheartedly with this conclusion. However, as we have argued, we disagree as to what the effects of the QE on the economy have been. Hence, it is worthwhile to review and contrast our difference of opinion.
